Welcome to the inaugural edition of Re:Call, a virtual magazine produced by medical students, for medical students. With diverse themes and topics planned for the year ahead, the team hopes that this magazine will serve as a bridge to the diverse career-related issues in Medicine to our readers.
Re:Call is the brainchild of the 72nd Careers’ Directorate, which in being immortalized in this virtual space, will function as a pensieve for generations of medical students to learn from those who come before us, and for us to look back on one day. The team is excited to be sharing interviews with revered seniors and doctors, diverse pathways in Medicine, and much more.
The 72nd Careers’ Directorate looks forward to organizing three key activities this year: the Careers Symposium, a series of sharings conducted by doctors for medical students; Careers Exploration, offering direct attachments in unconventional clinical settings; and the Careers Magazine, Re:Call.
We intend to
- Help our readers gain knowledge and make informed decisions about graduate training
- Help our readers gain skills to become competent doctors
- Promote self-care and work-life balance
